Dear BCCF member choirs,

As we enter the last few months of 2026, our annual BCCF Raffle is just around the corner. We are excited to be facilitating this important fundraiser for choirs once again this year.

The BCCF Raffle is one of the meaningful ways BCCF can support choirs by helping them reach their fundraising goals through the Gaming Branch. An advantage of doing your raffle through BCCF is that we handle all licensing and administration on your behalf.

This year the raffle will operate on an online-only basis. Our objective in transitioning to a fully electronic ticketing model is to streamline the raffle experience for all participating choirs. Data from previous years shows that the majority of choirs opt for electronic-only ticketing and have had very successful fundraising campaigns. Electronic tickets have the added benefit of coming from a shared pool, meaning that particularly driven choirs are able sell additional tickets from the pool after reaching their initial target!

Tickets are sold at $5 each, or as a pack of 5 tickets for $20. With electronic tickets you simply must monitor and encourage sales. At the end of the campaign, ticket sales are tallied and cash prizes ranging from $100 to $2000 are drawn.

Please take this letter to your choir board and ask them to consider participating in this year’s BCCF Raffle. We suggest that you initially decide your sales target, which you will indicate on the contact. This is a low-labour, no-risk venture, whereby participating choirs keep 60% of the gross sales. The remaining 40% covers the costs of administering the raffle and funds the cash prizes.
