Packing for Mountain Weather

Don’t forget the following!

• Clothing – be prepared for a wide range of temperatures.  Bring layers for your casual clothes!

• Chorfest music and black music folder or binder.

• Refillable water bottle and warm beverage cup.

• Concert outfit – you are welcome to wear your “home” choir outfit, or dress in all black.  

Weather

Kimberley is situated at 1,120m above sea level, and the Chorfest venue and hotel are at the base of the Kimberley Alpine Resort. Weather in May is variable with the possibility of warm, sunny days in the high teens (nearby Cranbrook boasts the MOST sunshine hours of any town in B.C.!) and definitely coolish evenings that can go as low as freezing.
