THE HANDEL SOCIETY CHOIR and Baroque Orchestra will perform a special Remembrance Day Concert on November 7th at 7.30 pm, at Peninsula United Church in Crescent Beach, featuring Bach Chorales and Charles Gounod's Saint Cecilia Mass, along with the patriotic hymn "I Vow to thee, My Country". This hymn was adapted from the music of Gustav Holst. Also on the program is "In Flanders Fields".

THE HANDEL SOCIETY CHOIR is inviting new singers to join us for this concert. Soprano, alto, tenor and bass voices are welcome. The ability to read music is an asset. In December we will perform Handel's MESSIAH, our Christmas tradition. Rehearsals will begin on September 1st at Cloverdale Canadian Reformed Church. We rehearse on Tuesday evenings at 7.30 pm.
