Details:

In 1783, Mozart brought his young bride Constanze home to Salzburg to meet his parents. And, fufilling a vow, he also brought a new Mass setting for the Cathedral.
The wonderful Mass in c minor, K 427, is an incomplete work, but shows Mozart at his most lyrical, and also his most old-fashioned - many of the choruses show the influence of Bach and Handel, who Mozart and Constanze had been studying together.

The Great c minor mass forms the second half of a concert that also includes the Overture to The Marriage of Figaro, and the delightful Flute Concerto, with Dragana Hajduk as soloist.
