Where to Stay
Trickle Creek Lodge, which is directly at the Chorfest venue, has generously created a Chorfest room booking rate. Please phone 1-877-282-1200 ext 2 to book a room before this offer ends on April 17th. Be sure to tell them you are with Chorfest 2019.
There are several other options, which you can explore via www.tourismkimberley.com including, for the adventuresome, the beautiful Riverside Campground.
Eating, Drinking and Other Fun Stuff
For dine-in options In downtown Kimberley (the Platzl) you will find Stonefire Pizzeria, The Pedal and Tap, The Shed, Kinbari Sushi and The Burrito Grill for evening meals, and Bean Tree, Snowdrift Cafe, Our Place, and the Kimberley City Bakery for morning and lunch meals. Also downtown, you can have a light lunch at the Creme Cheese Shop, or full deli lunch, juice bar and espresso drinks at The Centex/Stoke or the Sullivan Pub has full meals (and beer!) as well.
Marysville, just five minutes away, has the Marysville Pub, The Nest, and two coffee shops.
Things to Do
Be sure to stop by Centre 64, open 1-5pm Tue-Sat at 64 Deer Park Ave. to see a show of local artwork.
The Marysville Artisan Shop has a wide range of locally handmade art to take home as a souvenir.
If you choose to extend your stay, consider a visit to historic Fort Steele, just outside Cranbrook.
In the region, you will also find hot springs in Fairmont and Radium, within a 2 hour drive north of Kimberley.
If golfing is your bag, you will find several golf courses in the area to try.
