CHOIRS, COMMUNINTY AND CONNECTION: Our Stories

By Vancouver Playback Theatre

VPT presents a very unique kind of theatre: they tell your stories. On this interactive evening, you will share your thoughts and experience

Vancouver Playback Theatre (VPT) presents a very unique kind of theatre: they tell your stories. On this interactive evening, you will share your thoughts and experiences on the powerful communitarian bonds that happen when we sing together in choirs. The actors of VPT will alchemize these anecdotes and ideas into scenes that universalize them, and give them depth and emotional impact.

Ticketing and Bursary

This will be a ticketed event, with tickets charged at $20 or $15, depending on the financial circumstances and generosity of each audience member. (This is yet another aspect of participation and interactivity on this special evening!). As always, anyone who doesn’t have the means to attend is welcome to simply ask at the door to be covered by the Notional Space Bursary. This fund, compiled by friends of Notional Space, is designed to strengthen community by guaranteeing the magic of live performance is available to all, while at the same time ensuring that the artists who present here do not bear the financial cost of our inclusivity.

VPT is generously donating a portion of the proceeds of its perfomance on this evening to support the Notional Space Bursary fund.
